The presence of the national railways of Iran, Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan in this region has led to the Incheh-Burun border being named as Iran’s gateway to Central Asia.
At the same time, Iran’s accession to the Eurasian Union and the Shanghai Economic Cooperation Organization has provided a good opportunity for the development of foreign trade from this province.
